Meet Our Northern Nevada Breastfeeding Coalition Board Members!

Jennifer Campbell

President

I'm a Certified Birth Doula for all "happy" births regardless of where and how you deliver. I'm also a Bereavement Doula® helping families struggling with grief and loss, as well as an Adoption & Surrogacy Doula and Breastfeeding Counselor.

I am Mom Of 18 (yes - 18 kids!). I've written the blog - Mom’s Running It since 2011, am a published author of a self-help memoir in 2016, and host of the Becoming Parents Podcast since May of 2017. I love taking education and over 30 years of parenting experience and blending them.

I am a Speaker and have 15+ years of experience in the foster care sector as both a parent and a trainer. I am licensed as a Transformational Coach and NLP Practitioner through the ABNLP.

I’m also married to an amazing man in Reno, NV, where we live full-time in our renovated RV, am a runner, minimalist, and healthy lifestyle enthusiast.

Jennifer Delaney, MPH

Treasurer

I became a member of the Northern Nevada Breastfeeding Coalition in 2016 as a way to be involved in public health for women and children.  My intention is to work within our community to help families know their choices and resources when it comes to breastfeeding!  Through my own experiences I know it can be difficult as a new parent to know how to be successful when choosing to feed and bond with your newborn.  I found passion within the NNBC to help moms like me and now I want to be a part of the system to help other families!

Meredith Pollaro, OTR/L, IBCLC

Community Liaison, Latch-On Coordinator

I joined the coalition in 2012 when I moved to the area to get more involvedIin the breastfeeding community as a new IBCLC moving to the area. I have enjoyed meeting other passionate people in the community. I have held multiple titles such as co-chair (before we had president and VP), LG5k race coordinator, vendor coordinator, latch on coordinator, education event coordinator, BBW coordinator and more.

Meredith currently works as an Occupational Therapist specializing in feeding therapy and as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant in private practice. Her business is Nourish Nevada Lactation and Feeding Services where her and Emily Chappell CCC-SLP, CLC serve the local and surrounding community offering classes, support groups and private consultations. She is passionate about supporting families in their  transition into parenthood and using her feeding expertise to support their feeding goals. She offers breastfeeding guidance at all ages and development stages.
